Remove the screw at the end of the stem and install a new washer. Be sure the replacement washer is an exact match and coated with petroleum jelly. Find the O-ring and swap it out with a new one as well. Be sure to coat the new O-ring in petroleum jelly. Screw in your new stem and add the handle hardware back in place.
